Expanding access through learning spaces, tools, and support
- We are committed to creating opportunities for learning by supporting access, safety, and resources for students in rural Sierra Leone.
- In partnership with supporters from The Netherlands, we donated a 40-foot container filled with bicycles and spare parts to help rural students—many of whom walk up to three miles each way—reach school on time. This effort was our contribution to surprise the post-COVID-19 school dropout trend in Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema District.
- To support menstrual health and reduce school absences among girls, we constructed a dedicated toilet facility for female students in Largo village, located in the Kenema District.
- On January 6, 2025, we opened the Martine Frank – Duquennoy Memorial Library in Largo Jassawabu, giving students a quiet and resource-rich space for study and discovery.
- We also contribute by renovating classrooms and providing essential school amenities that support both teaching and learning.
